H-2B Visa cap reached for first FY 2026 allocation, USCIS confirms

USCIS has hit the cap for the first batch of supplemental H-2B visas for FY2026, with over 18,000 visas for returning workers already allocated. A lottery was held for petitions received between February 2nd and 6th. Two more allocations remain for seasonal businesses needing temporary foreign workers.
