'Gen V' actor Asa German lands role in 'X-Men'; to play mutant Angel

Asa Germann joins the X-Men cast as the mutant Angel. Sadie Sink will portray Jean Grey and Kit Connor is set for Cyclops. Adam Driver will play the villain Mr Sinister in the film. The new X-Men movie is scheduled for a May 2028 release. This casting news follows Marvel Studios' D23 convention announcement.
