Amaal Mallik announced a break from film music via X, citing the need to heal mentally and physically. He clarified unreleased songs will come out when those films release, and asked fans not to "pester" him. He recently sang "Yeh Awarapan" for Emraan Hashmi's "Awarapan 2."
